Mahinga Kai

A game made for the Maori Language Week Game Jame to coincide with Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2022.

In Mahinga Kai you are in charge of a garden that feeds the seven waka hourua that arrived after Kupe.  Keep them happy by harvesting all of the plants they ask for.

Instructions;

• Use the Timo card to prepare the soil.
• Plant a seed in the soil
• Click the Te Mutunga Iho button to advance a day.
• When the plants are grown use the Kaheru card to harvest the plant.
• The more grown plants that are connected the better harvest you get. So be patient and prepare your garden well. 
• Good luck and don't forget to scare away any pests.
